Individual Counseling: Four Counties for Tobacco Control offers cessation support to pregnant women, their partners, and others in need of assistance in the four counties. Individuals in Cedar, Iowa, Washington, and Johnson Counties can receive free, individual cessation counseling from a trained professional through the Johnson County Public Health department.

1-866-U-CAN-TRY:  One-on-one cessation counseling is provided from Quitline Iowa over the phone. Counselors will call you back, follow-up and send information by mail.

Discount Coupons:  Four Counties for Tobacco Control is beginning the third year of a very successful program.  Individuals who contact one of the participating cessation counselors in the four counties and agree to a follow-up call are eligible for a coupon providing as much as 50% off from the cost of nicotene gum, patches, nasal spray, and zyban.  Contact Beth Ritter Ruback at britterruback@cleanairforeveryone.org from more details or for a list of cessation counselors in our area.
